RESOLUTION 15-061
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2016 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF IVA UICEE,IOSM
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State of Iowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State of Iowa has set March 15th as the date cities must submit a
certified budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2016 budget in
accordance with the City Council goals and priorities,and to maintain the $13.50 tax rate
for the Waukee citizens,for the sixteenth year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 2,2015,during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2016
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,af'ter reviewing the proposed FY2016 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the same finds the FY2016 budget fiscally responsible and
responsive to the needs of the city,
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2nd day of March,2015,that it hereby approves the proposed FY2016
Budget.
