RESOLUTION 15-072
APPROVING A PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA FOR THK
PURCHASE OF COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE,POLICE
AND PUBLIC WORKS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UEEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the approval of a purchase agreement with
Motorola for the purchase of communication equipment for fire,police and public
works;AND,
WHEREAS,the terms of the agreement include the purchase and installation of 800
MGH radio equipment related to the Westcom migration and includes mobile,portable
radios and related accessories such as chargers and lapel microphones;AND,
WHEREAS,the equipment purchased will be owned and retained by the City of
Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2"day of March,2015,that it hereby approves the Purchase Agreement
with Motorola for the purchase of communication equipment for fire,police and public
works departments.
