RESOLUTION 15-078
APPROVING RENEWAL OF LEASE —BUSINESS PROPERTY BETWEEN THE CITY OF
WAUKEK,IOWA AND WAUKEK POST 737,THK AMERICAN LEGION,DEPARTMENT
OF IOWA,INC.(410 6 STREET)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHOMTY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOS'A
WHEREAS,the City owns the property locally known as 410 6'"St,Waukee,Iowa which the City
formerly offered for use as the Waukee Community Center;AND
WHEREAS,on April 6,2009,the City Council held public hearing and approved a Lease —Business
Property between the City of Waukee and the Waukee Post 737,the American Legion,Department of
Iowa,Inc.(the "Tenant")(Resolution 409-69);AND
WHEREAS,the Tenant has provided notice to the City of their desire to renew the lease for another
year.
BK IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the Lease—
Business Property between the City of Waukee,Iowa and Waukee Post 737,the American Legion,
Department of Iowa,Inc.„shall be renewed for a term which shall commence on the 1"day of May,
2015,and ending at midnight on the 30'"day of April,2016.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 16'"day of March,
2015.
