RESOLUTION 15-076
APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH COMMUNICATIONS
WORKERS OF AMERICA (CWA),LOCAL ¹7102,AFL-CIO,RECLASSIFYING JOB
DESCRIPTION AS PART OF THK JULY 1,2013 —JUNK 30,2016 CONTRACT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on November 5,2012,the Waukee City Council approved a Collective Bargaining
Agreement with the Communications Workers of America (CWA),Local ¹7102,AFL-CIO,in effect
July 1,2013 through June 30,2016 (Resolution ¹12-245);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and representatives of CWA,Local ¹7102,have reviewed and
approve a Memorandum of Understanding to acknowledge the reclassification of the position of
Maintenance Mechanic Laborer I from Labor to Skilled Trades and the job title change to Equipment
Services Technician;AND;
WHEREAS,the Memorandum of Understanding is attached hereto and by reference incorporated
herein;
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 16"
day of March,2015,that the Memorandum of Understanding with Communications Workers of
America (CWA),Local ¹7102,AFL-CIO,reclassifying job description as part of the July 1,2013—
June 30,2016 contract,is hereby approved.
