RESOLUTION 15-256
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PAINTED WOODS DRIVE BETWEEN ITS
INTERSECTIONS WITH ARROWHEAD DRIVE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 P.M.
AND 11:00P.M.ON SATURDAY,AUGUST 29,2015,FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Kate Johnson,425 Arrowhead Drive,requests the temporary closing of Painted Woods
Drive between its intersections with Arrowhead Drive between the hours of 5:00 p.m.and 11:00p.m.
on Saturday,August 29,2015,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to ss364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 3'dayofAugust,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Painted Woods Drive between its
intersections with Arrowhead Drive between the hours of 5:00 p.m.and 11:00p.m.on Saturday,
August 29,2015,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
