RESOLUTION 15-228
APPROVING THK HIRING OF THE MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
AND APPROVING FY2016 WAGES FOR SAID POSITION
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF IYAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,following the advertisement of the position and review of applications,a team
conducted interviews with five qualified applicants for the position of Marketing/
Communications Director;AND,
WHEREAS,based on those interviews,City Administrator Tim Moerman recommends hiring
Summer Evans for the position of Marketing/Communications Director;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
hiring of Summer Evans as Marketing/Communications Director is hereby approved,with a
starting date of July 28,2015.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that Summer Evans shall begin
employment at a Grade 4,Level 2 with an annual salary of $70,050.00.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 14ia day of July,
2015.
