RESOLUTION 15-233
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE STONE PRAIRIE DRIVE FROM SE
WILDFLOWER DRIVE SOUTH AND EAST TO ITS TERMINUS ON FRIDAY,JULY 31,
2015,BETWEEN THK HOURS OF 6:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO IYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Edward Palizzolo,2445 SE Stone Prairie Drive,requests the temporary closing of SE
Stone Prairie Drive from SE Wildflower Drive south and east to its terminus on Friday,July 31,2015,
between the hours of 6:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 20'"
day of July,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Stone Prairie Drive from SE
Wildflower Drive south and east to its terminus on Friday,July 31,2015,between the hours of 6:00
p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
