RESOLUTION 15-201
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SNYDKR STREET FROM AIDAN STREET
TO EMERSON LANE ON SATURDAY,JULY 4,2015,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
2:00 P.M.AND 11:00P.M.FOR THK PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAMEAND BY THEA UTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUEEE,108'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Shelly Hughes,90 Aidan Street,requests the temporary closing of Snyder Street from
Aidan Street to Emerson Lane on Saturday,July 4,2015,between the hours of 2:00 p.m.and 1 1:00
p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to $364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 29
day of June,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Snyder Sheet from Aidan Street to
Emerson Lane on Saturday,July 4,2015,between the hours of 2:00 p.m.and 11:00p.m.for the
purpose of a neighborhood block party.
