RESOLUTION 15-171
APPROVING UPDATED 28E AGREKMKNT FOR MUTUAL AID SERVICES WITH
ALL POLK COUNTY FIRE AND KMS AGENCIES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,IOJYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on November 18,2002,the Waukee City Council approved entering into a 28E
Agreement related to mutual aid services with Polk County Fire and EMS agencies (Resolution
¹02-178);AND,
WHEREAS,the 28E Agreement has been updated to incorporate current provisions and
requirements of Iowa Code Section 28E and contains no other material modifications to the
agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,it is beneficial to all parties to the agreement to render needed emergency medical
and fire/rescue services upon a reciprocal basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
1"day of June,2015,that it hereby approves an updated 28E Agreement for Mutual Aid
Services with all Polk County Fire and EMS Agencies.
