RESOLUTION 15-134
APPROVAL OF THE KKTTLESTONE DESIGN BOOK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on July 22,2013,the Waukee City Council approved retaining the services of
Confluence of Des Moines,IA,as the planning firm for the Alice's Road Corridor Project
(Resolution ¹13-197);AND,
WHEREAS,the work performed by Confluence included further planning and study beyond the
2011 Alice's Road Corridor Master Plan;AND,
WHEREAS,the Alice's Road Corridor has subsequently been renamed Kettlestone;AND,
WHEREAS,on June 16,2014,the City of Waukee City Council approved the I'ettlestone
Design Book as an amendment to the 2008 Waukee Comprehensive Plan;
WHEREAS,the Kettlestone Design Standards are a continuation of the work that was approved
as a part of Kettlestone Design Book and formalize the minimum design standards and
development approval process necessary for development of property within Kettlestone.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,in session
this 4"'day of May 2015,does hereby adopt the Yettiestone Design Guidelines.
