RESOLUTION 15-126
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING WARRANTY DEED FOR
SE LA GRANT PARKWAY AND SE WKSTOWN PARKWAY INTERSECTION
PROJECT —[HERMANN PROPERTY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has proposed a project at the intersection of SE LA Grant
Parkway and SE Westown Parkway which includes the construction of a trail,intersection
widening and a traffic signal;AND
WHEREAS,the project requires the acquisition of additional right of way from William J.and
Carolyn K.Hermann;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and William J.and Carolyn K.Hermann have previously come
to terms as a part of a settlement agreement for the acquisition of the right of way [Resolution
¹15-074].
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 4ra day of May 2014 that the warranty deed associated with the additional right of way and in
fulfillment of the settlement agreement is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of
the City of Waukee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file the
warranty deed,as well as any other documents related thereto,with the Dallas County Recorder.
