RESOLUTION 15-145
TERMINATING THE 28K AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
BETWEEN THK CITY OF WAUKEE AND DALLAS COUNTY,IOWA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee entered into a 28E Agreement with Dallas County,Iowa filed
at Book 2001 Page 12529 of the Dallas County Recorder's Office;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has maintained (24)twenty four hour emergency response
capability for the provision of emergency medical services in its service territory for the last
several years making the agreement obsolete.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,
that the City of Waukee that the 28E Agreement entered into with Dallas County,Iowa and filed
of record at Book 2001 Page 12529 should be terminated.City staff is authorized to cause notice
to be sent terminating the agreement in the manner prescribed therein and in accordance with
applicable Iowa law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 18'"day of May,
2015.
