APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE DATA COMPUTERS AND CAD
MOBILE LICENSES RELATED TO THE WKSTCOM TRANSITION
]WAUKEE FIRE DEPARTMENT]
INTHENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF MAUI EE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the approval of the purchase of six (6)mobile data
computers (MDCs)for use by the Waukee Fire Department;ANII,
WHEREAS,the purchase will place MDCs in Waukee ambulances,the main fire
engine,and three SUVs;AND,
WHEREAS,the $45,163.00 cost of the purchase includes the MDCs,associated
mounting equipment,and installation,as well as CAD licenses for six (6)Waukee
Police Department and six (6)Waukee Fire Department computers.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 18'"day of May,2015,that it hereby approves the purchase of Mobile Data
Computers and CAD mobile licenses related to the Westcom transition [Waukee Fire
Department].
