RESOLUTION 15-155
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE LANDING AT SHADOW CREEK PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,108'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Landing at Shadow Creek,LLC,and Alice's,LC,have requested final approval of
The Landing at Shadow Creek Plat 1 (the "Plat");AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of
the Plat on May 12,2015 subject to completion of remaining staff comments,completion of
public improvements,and review of the legal documents by the City Attorney;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Plat for The Landing at Shadow Creek Plat 1 and the documents relating
thereto will comply with Section $303 -Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal
Code.
NOW,THEREFORE,BK IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this 18 day of May,2015,that the Final Plat for The Landing at Shadow Creek Plat 1 be and
the same is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of the City of Waukee subject to
remaining staff comments,completion of public improvements,and review of the legal
documents by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Waukee does hereby accept the following
easements and documents to be filed with the Plat:
1.Warranty Deed (Street Lot A and B and Outlot V);
2.Warranty Deed (Outlot W of Prairie Crossing Plat 5);
3.Public Utility Easement;
4.Public Utility Easement;
5.Public Sanitary Sewer Easement;
6.Overland Flowage Easement;
7.Storm Water Maintenance Covenant;
8.Public Water Main Easement
