RESOLUTION 15-190
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SK CAREFREE LANE FROM SK
MARSHALL DRIVE TO SE MELROSK DRIVE ON SATURDAY,JULY 4,2015,FROM 3:00
P.M.TO 11:00P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Troy Myers,590 SE Carefree Lane,requests the temporary closing of SE Carefree Lane
from SE Marshall Drive to SE Melrose Drive on Saturday,July 4,2015,from 3:00 p.m.to 11:00p.rn.
for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 15
day of June,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Carefree Lane from SE
Marshall Drive to SE Melrose Drive on Saturday,July 4,2015,from 3:00 p.m.to 11:00p.m.for the
purpose of a neighborhood block party.
