RESOLUTION 15-223
ESTABLISHING THE FY2016 WAGE RATE FOR THE CITY'S NON-REPRESENTED
EMPLOYEES
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,per City of Waukee Code Section (110.4 the City Council shall annually review
and approve proposed wages for City employees whose positions are not represented by the CityofWaukeeCollectiveBargainingUnit;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council has reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2016 compensation
plan related to non-represented employee positions,which expands to include 9 Levels,with an
overall 2.2%COLA wage adjustment on March 2"",2015;
WHEREAS,the City Council has also reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2016 wage rates
and the placement of all non-represented employees,on the FY2016 Compensation Plan on
March 2",2015;
WHEREAS,the City Council has reviewed this supplemental wage rate request to change the
Fiscal Year 2016 wage rate for two police lieutenants on the FY2016 Compensation Plan,for
those employees hired since the original March 2",2015 Resolution approval,and the wage rate
for two employees not on the Compensation Plan who are paid on a non-hourly basis;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this6'"day of July,2015,hereby approves the established FY2016 non-represented wage rates,
according to Exhibit A,hereto attached,and made part of this resolution;AND,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Waukee City Council approves t FY2016 Wage
Rates for non-represented City employees.
