RESOLUTION PARTIALLY ACCEPTING THE WINDFIELD k
GRANT PARKS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS,on the 2"day of March,2015,the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,entered into a construction contract with Joiner Construction of Piano,IA,for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Windfield &Grant Parks
Improvement Project;and
WHEREAS,the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements to Grant Park in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and
plans and specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on July
2,2015:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted,and the public improvements to Grant Park are hereby approved and accepted as having
been fully completed in accordance with the plans,specifications and form of contract and the
total final construction cost of the improvements to Grant Park is hereby determined to be
$136,100.00,as shown in the report of the Engineer.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6"day of July,2015.
