RESOLUTION 15-293
APPROVING ASSIGNMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF COMMISSION AGREEMENT
IN THENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF I'AUIfEE,108'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Grant Woods,LLC,has requested final approval of Grant Woods Waukee Plat 1
(the "Plat");AND
WHEREAS,in lieu of park land dedication for the Plat,the developer has requested to dedicate
to the City,the art piece entitled "American Gothic (derived),Iowa —Past and Present —Living
Fence";AND,
WHEREAS,in order to dedicate the art to the City,the City must agree to an Assignment and
Assumption of Commission Agreement related to the original Commission Agreement dated
June 10,2003.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this 1"day of September,2015,that the Assignment and Assumption of Commission
Agreement related to the art piece entitled "American Gothic (derived),Iowa —Past and Present
—Living Fence"is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of City of Waukee.
