RESOLUTION 15-296
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE WESTGATE DRIVE FROM SE
WINDFIKLD DRIVE SOUTH TO SE GLENDALE DRIVE ON SATURDAY,SEPTEMBER 19,
2015,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THK PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF O'AUKEE,IOP'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Kitnberly McCurdy-Moyle,150 SE Westgate Drive,requests the temporary closing of
SE Westgate Drive from SE Windfield Drive south to SE Glendale Drive on Saturday,September 19,
2015,between the hotus of 6:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to tt364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 8"day
of September,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Westgate Drive from SE
Windlield Drive south to SE Glendale Drive on Saturday,September 19,2015,between the hours of
6:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.tn,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
