RESOLUTION 15-395
APPROVING LEASE EXTENSION AGREEMENT BETWEEN DOWNING
DEVELOPMENT WP,LLC AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE RELATED TO
CENSUS OFFICE SPACE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,City of Waukee intends on completing a Special U.S.Census which
requires the need for office space during the field work that is required to be completed;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City has previously entered into a lease agreement with Downing
Development WP,LLC which is set to expire on November 30,2015,however staff has
been notified that the Special Census will not be completed until the end of December
2015;AND,
WHEREAS,Downing Development WP,LLC,has provided a Lease Agreement
Extension effective on December 1,2015 and ending December 31,2015,for a rental
rate of $1,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 16 day of November,2015,that it hereby approves the Lease Agreement
Extension between Downing Development WP,LLC,and the City of W ukee related to
Census office space.
