RESOLUTION 15-397
APPROVING WESTCOM COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH (CAD)SYSTEM
UPGRADE PROJECT AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE'S PARTICIPATION THEREIN
IN THENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUICEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,THE Cities of Clive,Norwalk,Urbandale,Waukee,and West Des Moines (the
"Cities")desire that West Des Moines,as the lead agency for the Cities,enter into a Purchase
Agreement with TriTech Software Systems (the "Agreement")for the provision of a new
Westcom CAD software system;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to acknowledge and approve the Agreement associated
with the acquisition of the upgraded Westcom CAD system;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee also desires to acknowledge and approve Waukee's projected
obligation for its share of the CAD system upgrade in the amount of $237,735.00 and certain
maintenance,support,and costs to be paid through the Westcom operating budget over the next
ten years.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
16 day of November,2015,that it hereby acknowledges the Agreement between TriTech
Software Systems and the City of West Des Moines,and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute any required acknowledgement of such Agreement on behalf of th City of Waukee.
