RESOLUTION 15-424
APPROVING LEASE EXTENSION AGREEMENT BETWEEN DOWNING
DEVELOPMENT WP,LLC AND THK CITY OF WAUKEE RELATED TO
CENSUS OFFICE SPACE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,City of Waukee intends on completing a Special U.S.Census which
requires the need for office space during the field work that is required to be completed;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City has previously entered into a lease agreement with Downing
Development WP,LLC which is set to expire on December 31,2015,however staff has
been notified that the Special Census will not be completed until the end of January 2016;
AND,
WHEREAS,Downing Development WP,LLC,has provided a Lease Agreement
Extension effective on January I,2016 and ending January 31,2016,for a rental rate of
$1,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21"day of December,2015,that it hereby approves the Lease Agreement
Extension between Downing Development WP,LLC,and the City of Wauke re ated to
Census office space.
