APPROVAL OF THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF S.WARRIOR LANE FROM PARK
ROAD NORTH TO THE DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE FOR THE WAUKEE PUBLIC
LIBRARY ON SATURDAY,DECEMBER 19,2015,FROM 7:00 A.M.TO 1:00 P.M.FOR
THE PURPOSE OF A CONTROLLED BURN BY THE WAUKEE FIRE DEPARTMENT
OF AN UNOCCUPIED RESIDENCE ADDRESSED AS 1010 S.WARRIOR LANK
IN THE NAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Fire Department intends to conduct a controlled burn of an unoccupied
residence addressed as 1010 S.Warrior Lane,Waukee,Iowa,at the request of the property
owner;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to access fire hydrants and protect surrounding property and the general
public,it is necessary to temporarily close certain public streets during the controlled bum of the
property;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa $364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7'"day of December,2015,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of S.Warrior Lane
from Park Road north to the driveway entrance for the Waukee Public Library on Saturday,
December 19,2015,from 7:00 a.m.to I:00 p.m.for the purpose of a controlled burn by the
Waukee Fire Department of an unoccupied residence addressed as 1010 S.Warrior Lane.
