RESOLUTION 16-046
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN SHIVE-HATTERY,
INC.,AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE [2015 WESTOWN PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT]
INTHENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on May 4,2015,the Waukee City Council approved an Engineering Services
Agreement with Shive Hattery for civil engineering and land surveying services related to the
2015 Westown Parkway Improvement Project (Resolution ¹15-135);AND,
WHEREAS,on November 2,2015,the Waukee City Council approved an amendment to said
Engineering Services Agreement related to wetland and stream delineation services for the
project as required by the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers (Resolution ¹15-376);AND,
WHEREAS,the City proposes an Amendment No.2t to the Engineering Services Agreement
for services to include environmental tree survey for potentially threatened or endangered species
habitat,additional design for turn lanes,construction engineering,and completion of "as built"
drawings;AND,
WHEREAS,the engineering services amendment,attached hereto as Exhibit A,has been
reviewed and approved by the Waukee City Attorney.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
Amendment No.2 to Agreement between Shive-Hattery,Inc.,and the City of Waukee [2015
Westown Parkway Improvement Project],is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 2"day of February,
2016.
