RESOLUTION 15-331
APPROVING REVISED JOB DESCRIPTIONS
[WAUKEE POLICE DEPARTMENT,VARIOUS]
IN THE NAME AND BY THEA UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO IYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,upon review of certain Waukee Police Department positions,the job descriptions
for Lieutenant —Investigations,Lieutenant —Patrol,Sergeant,and Police Officer have been
written to more accurately reflect the functions and requirements of the positions;AND,
WHEREAS,the Police Chief and Human Resource Director recommend approval of the job
description revisions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 5"'day of October,2015,that it hereby approves the revised job descriptions for the Waukee
Police Department positions of Lieutenant —Investigations,Lieutenant —Patrol,Sergeant,and
Police Officer.
