RESOLUTION 15-346
APPROVING WATER SERVICE TERRITORY TRANSFER AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO 8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,legal counsel for the City of Waukee and Xenia Rural Water District have been
in negotiations regarding the transfer of water service territory;AND,
WHEREAS,the parties have reached a consensus regarding the transition process and Xenia
Rural Water District has provided the City of Waukee with a signed agreement addressing the
matter;AND,
WHEREAS,City of Waukee legal counsel recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
proposed Water Service Territory Transfer Agreement between Xenia Rural Water District
and the City of Waukee is approved,subject to approval and execution by Assured Guaranty
and USDA.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 5"'day of
October,2015.
