RESOLUTION 15-
APPROVING REVISED JOB DESCRIPTIONS [DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS AND
APPOINTED STAFF MEMBERS]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOH'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,job descriptions for department directors and those City staff members appointed
by the Waukee City Council have been reviewed to ensure that each is an accurate reflection of
the job duties and meets all laws and regulations in an effort to protect the City from
employment practice issues;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Administrator and Human Resource Director recommend approval of the
job description revisions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 21"day of September,2015,that it hereby approves the revised job descriptions for
department directors and appointed staff members,with the exclusion of the job description for
Library Director,which shall be approved by the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees prior
to approval by the Waukee City Council.
