RESOLUTION 15-311
APPROVING NON-REPRESENTED CITY EMPLOYEE POSITION,JOB
DESCRIPTION AND WAGE RATE [HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'AUKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Human Resource Director proposes creation of a year-round part-time Human
Resource Specialist position;AND,
WHEREAS,it is recommended that the position should be Grade 9 on the FY2016
Compensation Plan for non-represented employees,with the individual in this position working
an average of less than 30 hours per week;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Administrator and Human Resource Director recommend establishing the
position and approval of the job description and wage rate.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 21"day of September,2015,that it hereby approves the establishment of the non-
represented position of Human Resource Specialist,and the job description and wage rate for
said position.
