RESOLUTION 16-014
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG CERTAIN SECTIONS OF SE OLSON
DRIVE AND SE FRONTIER AVENUE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A.M.AND
10:00 P.M.ON CERTAIN DATES AS SPECIFIED
IN THE NAME AND IJY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF IYA UKEE,108'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Sports Plex West will host sports tournaments at their facility on various weekend dates
in early 2016;AND,
WHEREAS,the owners of Sports Plex West request permission to temporarily allow parking along
specific public streets to accommodate participants in the tournaments;AND,
WHEREAS,after meeting with the owners of Sports Plex West regarding their request,City staff
recommends approval of the temporary parking request.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 4"'day
of January,2016,that it hereby approves temporary parking along the north side of SE Olson Drive
from SE Crabapple Drive east to approximately 370 feet west of SE Alice's Road,and along the west
and south sides of SE Frontier Avenue from SE Olson Drive south and east to approximately 130 feet
west of SE Alice's Road,between the hours of 7;00 a.m.and 10:00 p.m.on the weekends of January
23-24,2016;February 6-7,2016;February 20-21,2016;March 5-6,2016;and March 19-20,2016.
