RESOLUTION 15-356
APPROVING QUOTE FOR CITY OF WAUKKE EXTERIOR SIGNAGE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is in the process of establishing an updated brand;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to successfully implement the brand,various exterior signage is necessary;
AND,
WHEREAS,City staff requested quotes for signage from certain vendors;AND,
WHEREAS,having reviewed the submitted quotes,City staff recommends awarding quote for
signage as follows:
~Two (2)large City welcome/entrance signs:Iowa Sign Company of Des Moines,IA,in the
amount of $18,192.64
~Eight (8)City road welcome signs:Iowa Prison Industries of Des Moines,IA,in the amount of
$1,555.20
~Two (2)panels for Waukee City Hall monument sign:Iowa Sign Company of Des Moines,IA,
in the amount of $3,787.40
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the quotes
for City of Waukee exterior signage as noted above be accepted and approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 19'"day of October,2015
