RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO WINDFIELD PARK
WHEREAS,on the 2nd day of March,2015,the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa,entered into a construction contract with Joiner Construction of Piano,IA,for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Windfield k,Grant Parks
Improvement Project;and
WHEREAS,the conn.actor fully completed the construction of the public improvements
to Grant Park in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on July 2,2015;
and
WHEREAS,the City Council accepted the public improvements to Grant Park on July 6,
2015;and
WHEREAS,the contractor has now fully completed the construction of the public
improvements to Windfield Park in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and
plans and specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on
October 29,2015:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted,and the public improvements to Windfield Park are hereby approved and accepted as
having been fully completed in accordance with the plans,specifications and form of contract
and the total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $499,300.95,which is the
total after the amount of $136,100.00 related to the Grant Park Improvements is deducted from
the amount indicated in the report of the engineer.
