RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS,SPECIFICATIONS,FORM
OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE 98 "
STREET/WACO PLACE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS,the City has entered an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City
of West Des Moines,Iowa to provide for the joint exercise of their respective powers in
connection with the construction of certain roadway improvements known as the 98ia
Street/Waco Place Improvement Project,with the City of West Des Moines acting in capacity as
lead agency for the project;and
WHEREAS,on the 13 day of May,2016,plans,specifications,form of contract and
estimate of cost were filed with the Clerk of the City of Waukee for the construction of the 98'"
Street/Waco Place Improvement Project;and
WHEREAS,notice of hearing on plans,specifications,form of contract and estimate of
cost for the public improvements was published by the City of West Des Moines as required by
law:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1.That the plans,specifications,form of contract and estimate of cost are hereby
approved as the plans,specifications,form of contract and estimate of cost for the public
improvements,as described in the preamble of this Resolution.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 16th day of May,2016.
