RESOLUTION 2021-188
APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION AND PAY GRADE
[GIS TECHNICIAN AND TRAFFIC TECHNICIAN]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director proposes the creation of a GIS Technician and Traffic
Signal Technician position; AND,
WHEREAS, the pay grade for GIS Technician shall be N16 and the pay grade for the Traffic
Signal Technician shall be GS 11; AND,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director and Human Resource Director recommend establishing
the positions and approving the job descriptions and pay grades.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 17t' day of May 2021, that it hereby approves the job description and pay grade for GIS
Technician and Traffic Signal Technician, Public Works Department.
