RESOLUTION 16-313
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WALNUT STREET FROM
6 n STREET WEST 125 FEET TO THE ALLEY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 P.M.
ON SATURDAY,AUGUST 13)2016,AND 2:00 A.M.ON SUNDAY,AUGUST 14,2016,
FOR THK PURPOSE OF A PARTY
IN THENAMEAND BYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOS'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the owners of Chops Old Bank request the temporary closing of Walnut Street
from 6'"Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 2:00 p.m.on Saturday,August 13,
2016,and 2:00 a.m.on Sunday,August 14,2016,for the purpose of a party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa $364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
1"day of August,2016,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Walnut Street from 6'"
Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 2:00 p.m.on Saturday,August 13,2016,
and 2:00 a.m.on Sunday,August 14,2016,for the purpose of a party.
