APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE LEEANN DRIVE FROM ITS
INTERSECTION WITH SE TELBY LANE TO 2085 SE LEEANN DRIVE ON
SATURDAY,OCTOBER 15,2016,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 P.M.AND 11:00
P.M.FOR THK PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 1YA UKEE,IO 8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Ashley Schultz requests the temporary closing of SE Leeann Drive from
its intersection with SE Telby Lane to 2085 SE Leeann Drive on Saturday,October 15,2016,
between the hours of 5:00 p.m.and 11:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5ra day of July,2016,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Leeann Drive from its
intersection with SE Telby Lane to 2085 SE Leeann Drive on Saturday,October 15,2016,
between the hours of 5:00 p.m.and 11:00p.m.for the purpose of a neig orhood block party.
