RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE CITY OF CLIVE'S
MAKING AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR
THE MEREDITH DRIVE/WARRIOR LANE HMA OVERLAY
PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE
OF IOWA:
Section 1. That the City of Waukee consents to the following bid for the construction of
certain public improvements described in general as the Meredith Drive/Warrior Lane HMA
Overlay Project, described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council on
June 21, 2021, being accepted by the City of Clive, the same being the lowest responsive,
responsible bid received for such work, as follows:
Contractor: Des Moines Asphalt & Paving of Ankeny, IA
Amount of bid: $972,888.50
Portion of project: All construction work
Section 2. That Clerk is hereby directed to notify the City of Clive that the City of Waukee
consents to the City of Clive's execution of the contract with the contractor for the construction of
the public improvements, such contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
