APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
SNYDKR &ASSOCIATES,INC.[SE WESTGATE DRIVE/E.HICKMAN ROAD
INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT]
1N THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,/0IYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City intends a public improvement project for the SE Westgate Drive/E.Hickman
Road intersection,with said improvement including the lengthening of the existing eastbound and
westbound left turn lanes on E.Hickman Road,widening SE Westgate Drive to a northbound turn
lane,and installation of a traffic signal;AND,
WHEREAS,Snyder &Associates has provided an agreement related to engineering,bid letting,and
construction administration services for the project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with Snyder &Associates,Inc.[SE Westgate
Drive/E.Hickman Road Intersection Improvement Project],attached hereto as Exhibit A,is hereby
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 19'"day of September,

TI-IE CITY IIEREBY AGREES TO RETAIN THE CONSULTANT FOR THE PROJECT AS
DESCRIBED IN THIS AGREEMENT AND CONSULTANT AGREES TO PERFORM TI-IE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND I URNISH THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION FOR THF.
PROJECT AS GENERALLY DESCRIBED IN TIIIS AGREEMENT.
1.SCOPE OF SERVICES
Services provided under this Agreement shall be as further described in Attachment I,Scope ot
Services.
2.SCHEDULE
The schedule of the professional services to be perfoimed shall conform to the Schedule set forth in
Attachment 2.Any deviations fi'om the Schedule shall be approved by the authorized City
representative.The City agrees that the Consultant is not responsible for delays arising from a
change in the scope of services,a change in the scale of the Project or delays resuhing from causes
not directly or indirectly related to the actions of the Consultant.
3.COMPFNSATION
A,In consideration of the professional services provided herein,the City agrees to pay the
Consultant the folloving sum NOT-TO-EXCEED.including any authorized reimbursable
expcnsesy pursuant to the Schedule of Fees set forth in Attachment 3.

The Consultant shall invoice the City monthly for services,any reimbursable expenses and any
approved amendments to this Agreenientr based upon services actually completed at the time of
the invoice.Final payment shall be due and payable vrithin 30 days of the City's acceptance of
Consultant's submission of final deliverables in accordance with the Scope of Services.
In consideration of the compensation paid to the Consultant,the Consultant agrees to perform
all professional seivices to the satisfaction of the City by performing the professional services
in a manner consistent with that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of
Consultant's profession currently practicing under similar circumstiuices.I'f the performance of
this Agreement involves the services of others or the furnishing of equipment.supplies,or
materials,the Consultant agrees to pay for the same in full.
4.INSURANCE
Consultant understands and agrees that Consultant shall have no right of covera&re under any
and all existing or future City comprehensive,self or personal injury policies,Consultant shall
provide insurance coverage for and on behalf of Consultant that will sufficiently protect
Consultant or Consultant'representative(s)in connection with the professional services which
are to be provided by Consultant pursuant to this Agreement,including protection from claims
for bodily injury,death,property damage,and lost income.Consultant shall provide lvorker's
compensation insurance coverage for Consultant and all Consultant's personnel.Consultant
shall file applicable insurance certificates with the City,and shall also provide evidence of the
follov'ing additional coverage.
The Consultant shall provide evidence of comprehensive general liability coverage and
contractual liability insurance by an insurance company licensed to do business in the State of
Iowa in the limits of at least $1,000r000 each personal injury accident rand/or death:$1r000,000
general aggregate personal injury and(or death;and $1,000,000 For each property damage
accident.The evidence shall designate the City as an additional instued.and that it cannot be
canceled or materially altered without giving the City at least thitcy (30)days wriuen notice by
registered mail„return receipt requested,
The Consultant shall also provide evidence of automobile liability coverage in the limits of at
least $1.000.,000 bodily injury and property damage combined.The evidence shall designate
the City as an additional insured,and that it cannot be cancelled or materially altered without
giving the City at least thirty (30)days written notice by registered mail,return receipt
requested.

D.The Consultant shall provide evidence of professional liability insurance,by an insurance
company licensed to do business in the State of iowa.in the limit of $1.000,000 for claims
arising out of the professional liability of the Consultant.Consultant shall provide City Ivrittcn

material alteration of the professional liability policy.
L'.Failure of Consultant to maintain any of the insurance coverages set forth above shall constitute
a material breach of this Agreement.
5.NOTICE
Any notice to the parties required under this agreement shall be in writing,delivered to the person
designated belov.,by United States mail or in Iiand delivery,at the indicated address unless
otherwise desigrnated in ivriting.

6.GENERAI.COMPLIANCE
In the conduct of the professional services contemplated hereunder,the Consultant shall comply
with applicable state,federal,and local Iakv,rules,and regulations.technical standards,or
specifications issued by the City.Consultant must qualify for and obtain any required liccuiscs prior
to commencement of work,including any professional licenses necessary to perform work within
the State of Iowa.
7.STANDARD OF CARE
Services provided by the Consultant under this Agreement shall be performed in a manner
consistent with that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of the same
professioli currently practicing under similar circiunstances.
8.INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
Consultant understands and agrees that the Consultant and Consultant's employees and
representatives are not City employees.Consultant shall be solely responsible for pclyt'lieut of
salaries,vrages,payroll taxes,unemployment benefits,or any other forni ol compensation or
benefit to Consultant or Consultant's employees,representatives or other personnel performing the
professional services specified herein.whether it be of a direct or indirect nature.I'urther,it is
expressly understood and agreed that for such purposes neither Consultant nor Consultant's

employees.representatives or other personnel shall be entitled to any City payroll,insurance,
unemployment,v,'orker's compensation,retirement,or any other benefits ivhatsoever.
9.NON-DISCRIMINATION
Consultant kvill not discriminate against any employee of applicant for empioytnent because of
race,color,sex.national origin,relirrion,age,handicap,or veteran status.Consultant ivillr ivhere
appropriate or required.take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed,and that
cinployees are treated,during employment,without regard to their race,color,sex,or national
origin,rclirrion.age,handicap,or veteran status.Consultant will cooperate with the City in using
Consultant's best efforts to ensure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are af1'orded the
maximum opportunity to compete for subcontiacts of work under this Agreement.
10.HOLD I IARMLESS
Consultant agrees to indemnify and hold harnilcss the City,its officers,agents,and employees
from any and all claims,settlements and judgments,to include all reasonable investigative fees.
attorney's fees,and court costs for any damage or loss vvhich is due to or arises from a breach of
this Agreement,or fiom negligent acts,errors or omissions in the performance of professional
services under this Agreement and those of its sub consultants or anyone for whom Consultant is
legally liable.
11.ASSIGNMENT
Consultant shall not assign or otherwise transfer this Agreement or any right or obligations therein
witliout first receiving prior written consent of the City,
12.APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
The funds appropriated for this Agreement are equal to or exceed the compensation to be paid to
Consultant.The City's continuing obligations under this Agreement may be subject to
appropriation of funding by the City Council.In the event that sufficient funding is not
appropriated in whole or in part for continued performance of the City's obligations under this
Agreement,or if appropriated funding is not expended due to City spending limitations.the City
may terminate this Agreement v"ithout further compensation to the Consultant.To the greatest
extent allowed by laws the City shall compensate Consultant as provided in Section 18(6)of this
Agreement.
13.AUTHORIZED AMENDMENTS TO AGREEMENT
A.The Consultant and the City acknowledge and agree that no amendment to tlus Agreement or
other form,order or directive may be issued by the City which requires additional compensable
ivork to be performed if such vvork causes the aggregate antount payable under the amendment,
order or directive to exceed the amount appropriated for this Agreemem as listed in Section 3,
above,unless the Consultant has been given a vrritten assurance by the City that lawful
appropriation to cover the costs of the additional work has been made.

B.The Consultant and 1he City further acknowledge and agree that no amendment to this
Agreement or other fotgtl,order or directive which requires additional compensable work to be
performed under 1his Agreement shall be issued by the City unless fiuids are available to pay
such additional costs,and the Consultant sllall not be entitled to any additional compensation
for anlr additional compensable worl performed under this Argreement.The Consultant
expressly waives any right to additional compensation.whether in law or equity,unless prior to
commencing lhe additional lvork the Consultant was given a lvritten aluendment,order or
directive describing the additional compensable lvork to be performed and setting forth the
amount of compensation to be paid,such amendment.order or directive to be signed by the
authorized City representative.It is the Consultant's sole responsibility to lcnolv,determine,and
ascertain the authoiity of the City representative signing any amendmenu directive or order.
14 OWNERSHIP OF CONSULTING DOCUMENTS
All sketches,tracings,plans,specifications,reports,and other data prepared under this Arrrenuent
shall become the property of the City;a reproducible set shall be delivered to the City at no
additional cost to the City upon completion of the plans or termination of the services of the
Consultant.All dravviilgs tllld data shall be transmitted in a durable material,with electronic Ilies
provided v:hen feasible to do so.The Consultant's liability for use of the sketches,tracings,plans,
specifications,reports,and o1her data prepared lulder this Agreement shall be limited to thc Project.
15.INTERPRETATION
No amendment or modification of this Agreement shall be valid unless expressed in vrriting and
executed by the parties hereto in the same manner as the execution of the Arrreement.This is a
completely integrated Agreement attd contains the entire agreement of 1he parties:any prior lvritten
or oral agreements shall be of no force or effect and shall not be binding upon either party.The
lav's of the State of Iowa shall govelll Slid any judicial action under the tel'i'ils of this Agreement
shall be exclusively within the jurisdiction of the district court for Dallas County,Iowa.
16.COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL LAW
To the extent any federal appropriation has or vrill be provided for the Project,or any federal
requiretnent is imposed on the Project,.Consultant agrees that Consultant will comply with all
relevant laws,rules and regulations imposed on City and/or Consultant necessary for receipt of the
federal appropriation.Consultant shall provide appropriate certification regarding Consultallts
compliance.
17.SOLICITATION AND PERFORMANCE
A.The Consultant warrants that it has not employed or retained any company or person,other than
a bona fide employee v:orking for the Consultant.to solicit or secure this Agreement,and that
the Consultant has not paid or arrreed to pay any company or person other than a bona fide
employee,any fee,commission,percentage.brokerarre fee,gift or contingent fee.

B.The Consultant shall not engage the services of any person or persons in the employ of the City
at the time of commencing such services kvithout the written consent of the City.
18.SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT
A.The right is reserved by the City to suspntd this Agreement at any time.Such suspension may
be affected by the City giving wriuen nonce to the Consultant,and shall be effective as of the
date established in the suspension notice.Pavment for Consultant's services shall be made by
the City for services performed to the date established in the suspension notice.Should the City
reinstate the work after notice of suspension,such reinstatement may be accomplished by thirty
(30)days kvritten notice within a period of six (6)months after such suspension,unless this
period is extended by written consent of the Consultant.
B,Upon ten (10)days kvritten notice to the Consultant.the City tnay terminate the Agreement at
any time if it is found that reasons beyond the control of either the City or Consultant make it
impossible or against the City's interest to complete the Agreement.In such case,the
Consultant shall have no claims against the City except for the value of the work performed up
to the date the Agreement is terminated.
C.The City may also terminate this Agreement at any time if it is found that the Consultant has
violated any material term or condition of this Agreement or that Consultant has failed to
maintain workers'compensation insurance or other insurance provided for in this Agreement.
In the event of such default by the Consultant,the City may give ten (10)days written notice to
the Consultant of the City's intent to terminate the Agreement.Consultant shall have ten (10)
days from notilication to remedy the conditions constituting the default.
D.In the event that this Agreement is terminated in accordance v'.ith paragraph C of this section,
the City may take possession of any v'ork and may complete any vvork by kvhatever means the
City may select.The cost of completing said v&ork shall be deducted from the balance which
vdould have been due to the Consultant had the Agreement not been terminated and work
completed in accordance v ith contract documents.
E.The Consultant may terminate this Agreement if it is found that the City has violated any
material term or condition of this Agreement.In the event of such default by the City,the
Consultant shall give ten (10)days written notice to the City of the Consultant's intent to
terminate the Agreement.City shall have ten (10)days fiotu notification to remedy the
conditions constituting the default.
19.TAXES
The Consultant shall pay all sales and use taxes required to be paid to the State of Iowa on tlhe work
covered by this Agreement.The Consultant sltall execute and deliver and shall cause any sub-
consultant or subcontractor to execute and deliver to the City certificates as required to permit the
City to make application for refunds of said sales and use taxes as applicable.The City is a
municipal corporation and not subject to state and local tax,use tax&or federal excise taxes.

20.SEVERABILITY
If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid or uniniforceable by a court of'competent
jurisdiction,the remaining portions of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
21.MISCELLANEOUS HEADINGS
Title to articles.paragraphs.and subparagraphs are for information purposes only and shall not be
considered a substantive part of this Agreenient.
22.I URTHER ASSURANCES
Each party hkneby agrees to execute and deliver such additional instruments and documents and to
take all such other action as the other party may reasonably request from time to time in order to
effect the provisions and purposes of this Agreement.
23.COUNTERPARTS
This Agreement may be executed in any munber of counterparts,each of vrhich shall constitute an
original document,no other counterpart needing to be produced.and all of v;hich ivhen taken
iogether shall constitute the same instrument.

ATTACI I MENT I
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The ivork to be performed by the Consulyctny under this agreement shall encompass and include
detailed work,sektvicesr materials,equipment and supplies necessaD to complete analysis and design
for the project.
I.GENERAL
This Scope of Services outlines the professional services required to complete the proposed
U.S.Hwy.6 (Hickman Rd)and Westgate Dr.intersection and traffic signal improvements.
The project.generally involves lengthening the existing east and westbound left turn lanes on
Hicktnan Rd,v idening SE Westgate Dr to create improved pavement width and alignment for
northbound left turn lane,and installation of a traffic signal at the intersection to be
incorporated into the City's current traffic signal system.See attached improvement concept.
drawing.Professional services generally include traffic signal warrant and functional
geometries study,survey,design of intersection improvements,v,ideninrr,and traffic signal
iniprovements,development of bid documents,and full construction administration and
resident observation services.
II.SCOPE 0}'SERVIC.ES
A.ADMINISTRATION
I.Project management,scheduling,progress report,and billing.
2.Coordinate with Iowa DOT District 4 Local Systems Office,including submittal of a
traffic signal warrant study report for approval to install uaf lie signal and to amend
Corridor Master Plan Agreement,Work Witlihi ROW Permit,preliminary plans,final
plans,Application for a Traffic Control Device,and other documents and permits as
requested.
3.Coordinate with utility companies located within the project boundaries.Includes
coordination of overhead electric on the north side of I-Iickman Rd,underground
communications,cable,street lighting opportunities on traffic signal polesr and other
utilities as encountered during project design.
4.Attend 2-3 project review meetings with the City over the course of the project,as
needed.
B.INTERSECTION STUDY
1.Collect traf lie count inforntation and review crash history as needed to evaluate traffic
signal warrants.

2.Evaluate pending development in vacant quadrants for potential traffic volume
demand increase in 2017 and at intersection.
3.Evaluate traffic signai v arrants for installation for supporting request to Iowa DOT
District 4 staff.
4.Prepare technical memorandum repots outlining traffic signal vrarrant review,and
intersection functional geometric needs.
5.Assist City with coordination of Iowa DOT District 4 staff for approvals on proposed
intel'section lnlpl'ovenlelrts.
C.'fOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY
1.Boundary Survey:Re-establish the existing property by means of existing
moniueent,plats and or other documents as provided by ovrner and/or recorded with
the County Rccorderrs Office for the parcels adjacent to the project.This work does
not constitute a certifled boundary survey and missing monuments v;ill not be set.
2.Right-of-Way Establishment:Field verify the existing right-of-v ay line(s)to
facilitate design or concept needs and enable creation of said construction documents.
This service includes,research the public records in the county courthouse to acquire
the current recorded deed(s),subdivision plat(s),recorded survey(s)and section
corner cettiftcate(s);perform a field survey locating existing monuments and the best
available evidence needed to re-establish the record boundary lines;graphically shovv
the boundary on the consn'uction docmnents for design putTgosc only.The City shall
provide or disclose all known information pertaining to the right-of-way.This would
include but not limited to boundary conflicts v;ith adjoining owners,deeds,surveys
concepts drawings and easements.This v;ork does not constiiute a cetsifted boundary
survey and missing monummlts v.ill not be set.
3.Topographic Survey:Provide a topographic survey of the areas of thc proposed
improvements.A full survey of the entire corridor v ill not be perfoimed.Only
enough topographic data to design the improvements outlined in the concept will be
obtained.Creation of the terrain model,location of existing site features,and utilities
from surface features,existing records,and fiom Iowa One-Call utility locates are
included.Tenain models shall demonstrate existing contour relief at one-foot
intervals and include spot elevations as required.Trees on site shall be located by tree
line limits and individual trees outside tree clustins or wooded areas.
D.DESIGN SERVICES
Prepare 11"x 17"plans for a local letting,but for review/approval by Iowa DOT.The
folloiving tasks are included in design and plan development;

1.Roadv ay Details:Provide typical sections and details for proposed improvements,
including lane widths.pavement base and surface thicknesses,applicable station
ranges,and other details.
2.Quantities and Tabulations;Determine and tabulate bid items and estimated
quantities;develop estimate reference information.Tabulate various bid items as
necessary.Develop an opinion of probable construction costs.
3.Plan Sheets:Determine geometry for pavement widening and returns.Display
improvements on 20 scale plan sheet(s).
4.Survey Control Information:Show all benclunarks,control points,and aligiunent
chains.
5.Intersection Sheets:Develop jointing and staking sheets for the intersection of U.S.
HIW.6 and Westgate Drive.Develop curb return profiles for all reconstructed returns.
Determine return geometry and centerline profiles for all affected entrances.
6.Drainage and Utility Design:Detailed storm sewer design calculations are not
included in this scope.Relocation or adjustment of structures as necessary for the
proposed improvetnents kvili be shov "n in the plans.
7.Sidewalk /Pedestrian Design:Determine geometry and staking infotuiation for nevv
ADA curb ramps will be developed meeting the requirenients of Section 1F-18 of the
Iowa DOT Design Manual.
8.Traf lie Control;Develop traffic control and staging plans for the improvements.
Determine pavement marking layouts.
9.It is assumed all improvements will be within existing right of way.
10.Traffic Signal Design
a.Prepare traffic signal design and plans using topographic base mapping,proposed
intersection geometric design,and availablc design standards I'or the City of
Waukee,Iowa DOT and the Marural on f/tti for.tn Ti uffic Control Devices,
b.Plan sheets to be prepared by the Fngineer are expected to include the folloiving;
Signal Cieneral 1ilotes and Quantities sheet;Signal Layout sheet;Wiring Diagram
sheet;Signal Phasing sheet,Signal Interconnect sheet(sl and Detail sheet(s).
c.Ioiva DOT and/or Iowa Statev:ide Urban Standard Specifications (SUDAS)v ill
be used for the project.Any additional requirements or variations fiom SUDAS
specifications v»ill be included in the plans or special provisions.

d.Prepare Iowa DOT Application for Traffic Cnntrol Device Permit.
12.Bid Documents;Prepare bid documents as needed for a local letting,using Iowa
DOT,City or SUDAS standard documents,
13.Bid Period Assistance:Claril'y project issues as they arise during the bidding process.
Review bids,and provide the City with a recommendation regarding the award of the
cnnstruction contract.
E.Construction Easement Plats:Easement Plats are not included.It is assumecl all
improvements ivill be in existing right of vray.
F.CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Upon award of the construction contract,Consultant will perform the following
administrative services duidng construction of the project.Consultant will assist the City
as a Resident Construction Engineer and will oversee construction administration duties
for the duration of the construction phases.The Consultant wrill provide day to day
construction observation review and documentation of work activity.Professional
Senrices will include the following.
1.Preconstruction Meeting.Arrange and conduct a precnnstruction meeting vrith the
Contractor,Subcontractors,City,DOT,and utility companies to review project
requirements,and work schedule.Prepare minutes of the meeting and distribute to all
parties in attendance.
2.Consumction Siucvey.Construction stalcing for improvements illustrated nn the
construction plans including rough grading,storm sewer,pavement removals,
pavement placenient and traffic signals.Staking shall be provided utilizing modern
construction methods.Fees for services may vary dependinrr upon construction time
schedule,Contractor's construction practices and the weather.
3.Periodic Site Observations.Design engineers fi'om Consultant will be available for
periodic site observations shoulcl the need arise during the construction of the project,
4.Submittals Review.Review shop drawings,test reports,catalog cuts,and materials
cettiftcations I'or compliance with project specifications.
5.Resident Construction Observation.Consultant will provide a Resident Engineer or
Resident Construction Observer for the Project as required during the Construction
Phase.If the Contractor requests a waiver of any provisions of the plans and
specifications,.the Consultant shall make a reconunendation on the request to the City
for their determination.No waiver shall be grant.ed if such ivaiver would serve to
reduce the quality of the final product.The City shall never be deemed to have
authorized the Consultant to consent to the use of del'ective vrorkmanship or materials.

The Resident Construction Observer will give guidance to the Project during the
construction period,including the following:
a.Setting and/or checking lines and grades required during construction.
b.Observation of the work for general compliance with the Contract Documents.
c.Keep a record or log ol Contractor's activities tliroughout construction,prepare
weekly reports of working days,and notation on the nature and cost of any extra
v:ork or changes ordered during construction.
d.Resident Services provide the City with representation at the job site during the
Construction Phases of the Project ivhich results in increasing the probability
that the Project will be constructed in substantial compliance with the Contract
Documents.However,such Resident Services do not guarantee the Contractor's
performance.Resident Services do not include responsibility for construction
means,controls,teclmiques,sequences,procedures,or safety.
6.Construction Testing.Complete required concrete field air and slump tests.Any
additional materials testing or certified plant inspection needed will be provided by
the Contractor.
Notification of Nonconformance,Notify the City of any knov''n work which does not
conform to the Contract Documents,make recommendations to the City for the
correction of nonconforming v ork and,at the request of the City,coordinate v ith the
Contractor regarding implementation of con ections.
Payment Applications and Cliange Orders.Develop pay applications based on
Contractor's request and progress of work,and negotiate change orders for approval
by the City.Payment to the Contractor will be made directly by the City.
Traffic Signal Tuni-on /Timings.Attend initial turn-on of tragic signal and assist
vvith timing adjustments for basic operation.Develop timing plan settings for current
system coordination timing plan settings operating in City system,and assisi City with
setup of timing plan settings,and fine tune adjustment.
10.Final Walk-Through.Conduct final walk-through of completed improvements with
City,Contractor and Iowa DOT.Develop punch list of items to be completed by
Contractor.
11.Final Acceptance.It is understood that the City will accept any portion of the Project
only after recommendation by the Consultant.Final acceptance of the Project by the
City and Iovra DOT shall not be deemed to release the Contractor fiom responsibility
for insuring that the work is done in a good and worlunanlike manner,bee of defects
in materials and ivorkmanship,nor the Consultant for liability of design.Complete all
final paperwork as required by the City and Iorwa DOT.

12.Record Drav''ings.Develop a set of record drawings including known changes made
to the proposed improvements during the construction period.The record drawings
will be provided to the City in electronic format.
13.If the Contractor exceeds the estimated working days in completing consnuction of
the Project,or if change orders or project additions require additional working days,
the Consultant will be compensated for administration,inspecting,and staking
services based on established hourly rates and fixed expenses outlined in the
Consultant's Standard Fee Schedule.
G.ADDITIONAL SERVICES
If requested by the City,the folloyving additional services will be provided through
supplemental agreement:
l.liight-of-trVay Acquisition Services.Detailed scope of services to be provided as
part of a supplemental agreement.Services v:ill generally include the following:
a.State of Iowa licensed real estate agents will negotiate and endeavor to acquire
for the City all necessary easements and/or real property parcels needed for the
project.
b.Prepare a parcel file for each property and necessary acquisition documents.
c.Prepare compensation estimates,where applicable.
d.Retain subconsultants,as needed,for Certificates of Title,appraisals and revieiv
appraisals.
III.RESPONSIBILITIES OF CITY
A.Provide relevant record drawings and site plans for committed or planned developmenn
B.Coordination assistance with Ioiva DOT.
C.Provide City utility information,
D.Council proceedings/action itents.
E.Acquisition.of temporary construction easements.
F.Coordination with impacted property/business owners.

Auto mileage wiii be reimbursed per the standard mileage reimbursement established by
