RESOLUTION 16-279
APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CITY OF WAUKEE TITLE VI
COORDINATOR
IN THE NAMEAND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAU1CEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation requires the appointment of a Title
Vl Coordinator in order to implement and monitor compliance with the requirements of
Title Vl and related nondiscrimination laws and regulations that are applicable to Federal
funding assistance that is passed through the Iowa Department of Transportation;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Title Vl Coordinator shall act as the representative for
issues and actions pertaining to a Title Vl Non-Discrimination Agreement between the
City of Waukee and the Iowa Department of Transportation;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard appoints City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett as the Title
VI Coordinator for the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on the
5'"of July,2016,does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of City of Waukee Title
VI Coordinator.
