AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502, WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA, BY AMENDING
SECTION 502 “PARKING REGULATIONS,” CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that certain public streets should be added
to or eliminated from the no parking ordinances.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.2 is
hereby amended by adding the following streets as follows:
§502.1 No parking is permitted at any time on either side of the following north-
south streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.1 section:
NW 17th Street
Serenity Drive between Ashworth Road and Daybreak Drive
NW Sunrise Drive
NW 15th Street
NW 2nd Street
§502.2 No parking is permitted at any time on the east side of the following north-
south streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.2 section:
NW Shiloh Circle
Adobe Drive
Avalon Drive
Serenity Drive
Abbott Drive
Belmont Boulevard
Indian Ridge Drive between Fox Landing and Prairie Bluff Drive
NW Georgetown Drive
NW Lexington Drive
NW 1st Street
NW Stratford Dr
NW Gracewood Dr
SE Drumlin Dr

Delete the following street names from the 502.2 section:
Willowbrook Drive (SE)
Indian Ridge Drive from its intersection with Ute Avenue to a point 300 feet east
Section 2. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.3 is
hereby amended by adding the following streets as follows:
§502.3 No parking is permitted at any time on the west side of the following north-
south streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.3 section:
NE Bobcat Drive
Cherokee Court
SE Piedmont Circle
SE Bluestem Drive
NW Jamestown Lane
NW Bunker Hill Drive
Cheyenne Court
Dakota Circle
Bison Trail
Scout Trail
Fieldstone Trail
NW Stratford Drive
NW Bennington Dr
Knottingham Circle
Section 3. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.5 is
hereby amended by adding the following streets as follows:
§502.5 No parking is permitted at any time on the either side of the following east-
west streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.5 section:
Douglas Parkway (NE and NW)
Sunrise Drive (NW) between NW 2nd Street and NW 10th Street
Delete the following street names from the 502.5 section:
Sunrise Drive (NW) between N. 10th Street and Warrior Lane
Section 4. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.6 should
be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§502.6 No parking is permitted on the following streets:

A. No parking is permitted at any time, except as otherwise noted, on the north side of
the following streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.6 section:
NW Gettysburg Lane
NW Vicksburg Court
NW Venture Drive
El Dorado Court
Roman Road
SE Esker Ridge Drive
NW Georgetown Drive
NW Jamestown Lane
NW Bunker Hill Drive
NW Stratford Drive
NW Pine Bluff Circle
Cedar Street from the intersection of 8th Street to 10th Street

Section 5. Chapter 502, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 502.7 should
be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§502.7 No parking is permitted on the south side of the following east-west streets:
Add the following street names to the 502.7 section:
Augusta Court
NW Gracewood Drive
Prairie Bluff Drive
Dakota Circle

Chestnut Drive
Cedar Street west of 10th Street
Spruce Street west of 10th Street
Indian Ridge Drive west of Ute Avenue
NW Sunrise Drive between N Warrior Lane and NW 2nd Street
Locust St west of 10th Street
SE Mesa Dr
Se Drumlin Dr
Delete the following street names from the 502.7 section:
Cedar Street (starting a point 684’ west of the intersection of 8th Street and Cedar Street
continuing west)
Spruce Street (starting a point 733’ west of the intersection of 8th Street and Spruce Street
and continuing west)
Indian Ridge Drive
Sunrise Drive (NE) west to Dartmoor Drive
Sunrise Drive (NW)
Section 6. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 7. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 8. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
