appointment of the representative and alternate member to the
Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) Policy Board and
representative and alternate member to the Wastewater Reclamation
Authority (WRA) Technical Board for 2021
FORMAT:Mayor’s Appointment and Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The WRA requests that each WRA community
appoint both a representative and alternate to the WRA Policy and
Technical Boards. Waukee’s current population allows for one
representative and alternate to be appointed. Mayor Clarke will make the
following appointments:

RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE
AND ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY (WRA) POLICY BOARD AND REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY (WRA) TECHNICAL BOARD FOR 2021
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, according to the provisions of the 28E agreement the City of Waukee holds
with the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA), the City must annually appoint or
reappoint representatives and alternates to the WRA Policy and Technical Boards; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2021, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints _______ as
the representative and _______ as the alternate to the WRA Policy Board; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2021, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints _______ as
the representative and _______ as the alternate to the WRA Technical Board;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 18th day of January, 2021, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointments
to the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) Policy and Technical Boards.
