AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Limited Part Time/
Seasonal/Intern Compensation Plan
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Limited Part Time/Seasonal/Intern compensation plan
has been reviewed and revised.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Minimal fiscal impact as all pay
ranges remained the same as the 2020 season, with the exception of removing
the first two steps of the Clubhouse Assistant, Golf Course maintenance
Worker, and Golf Course Attendant positions. Additionally, the position of
Clubhouse Lead was added.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff recommends approval of the Limited Part
Time/Seasonal/Intern Compensation Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2021-
ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CITY OF WAUKEE LIMITED
PART TIME/SEASONAL/INTERN EMPLOYEES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Park & Recreation Director, Public Works Director, Library Director and
Human Resource Director have reviewed and recommend approval of the compensation plan for
City of Waukee Part time/Seasonal/Intern employees; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposed compensation plan shall be effective April 1, 2021 and shall remain
in effect until such time as a revised compensation plan is presented.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
1stth day of February 2021, that the City of Waukee Part time/Seasonal/Intern compensation
plan, which is attached hereto, is hereby approved.
