AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution amending certain addresses with
The Commons at Greenway Plat 2
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently approved a final plat for The
Commons at Greenway Plat 2. After the plat was recorded staff determined
that there were six (6) assigned addresses within Plat 2 that overlapped with
existing addresses within The Commons at Greenway Plat 1. In order to
correct this issue staff is recommending that addresses for Lots 35, 39, 40, 43,
76, and 78 within The Commons at Greenway Plat 2 be changed.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the resolution

RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVAL OF AMENDING CERTAIN ADDRESSES WITHIN THE COMMONS
AT GREENWAY PLAT 2
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee approved the final plat for The Commons at Greenway
Plat 2 on March 23, 2020, and recorded said final plat with the Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there were addressing errors related to Lots 35,
39, 40, 43, 76, and 78 of The Commons at Greenway Plat 2; AND,
WHEREAS, staff recommends changing the following local addresses within the City in
order to correct said errors as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 1st day of February 2021, that the local addresses as referenced above
are amended. A copy of this resolution shall be filed of record with the Recorders Office
of Dallas County, Iowa.
