AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of setting March 15, 2021, as the date of
public hearing on the adoption of the City of Waukee FY2022 budget

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: This timeline will allow the Director of Finance time to
submit the final certified budget copy to the Dallas County Auditor to
meet the March 30 deadline.
In years past, the filing deadline was March 15. However, due to
additional requirements imposed by the State of Iowa related to the tax
levy, the filing deadline is extended to March 30.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the public hearing date.
