CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION
MEETING DATE: February 16, 2021
AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Payment Estimate No. 4 to Larson Construction,
Co., Inc., for the Triumph Park Project in the amount of $745,552.43.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Payment Estimate No. 4 to Larson Construction, Co., Inc.,
is for general conditions, Building Foundations/SOG, masonry, structural steel
framing, underground plumbing, electrical, earthwork, site utilities, and
Grease Trap for concessions. Payment Estimate No. 4 also includes
$296,762.82 for Mandatory Alternate #1 which is the Epic playground
equipment for the Waukee Betterment Foundation. As per the agreement with
the Waukee Betterment Foundation, upon approval of this payment Estimate,
an invoice will be submitted to the Waukee Betterment Foundation for
reimbursement. The quantities completed to date have been reviewed and
agreed upon by the contractor, City of Waukee Staff, and Confluence.

RE: Contractor Application for Payment #4 - Triumph Park
Dear Mr. Jermier:
Attached please find contractor Application for Payment #4 in the amount of $745,552.43 for approval and
signature by Waukee City Council. This pay application includes the $106,228.27 in change orders that was
approved last month. Quantities have been reviewed and agreed upon by the contractor, City staff, and
Confluence.
Confluence recommends approval and payment as indicated.
