SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The 2021 Well Rehabilitation Project will be located
east of 6th Street, south of Waukee Avenue and north of University Avenue.
The project is for the construction of the 2021 Well Rehabilitation Project includes all labor,
materials and equipment necessary to re-case a Jordan well approximately 2300 feet in depth. Work
includes mobilization, 8-inch and 12-inch diameter steel casing pipe, cement grout, testing, acid
treatment, test pumping, television survey, and miscellaneous associated work, including cleanup.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF
CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2021 WELL
REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA.
At 5:30 P.M. on the 15th day of March, 2021, the City Council of said City will hold a
hearing and said Council proposes to adopt plans, specifications, form of contract and
estimate of cost and, at the time, date and place specified above, or at such time, date
and place as then may be fixed, to act upon proposals and enter into a contract for the
construction of the following improvements:

Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to re-case a Jordan well
approximately 2300 feet in depth. Work includes mobilization, 8-inch and 12-inch

At said hearing, the City Council will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form
of contract, and estimated total cost for the project, the same now being on file in the
office of the City Clerk, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete
description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said Council
will also receive and consider any objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of
cost and form of contract made by any interested party.
Due to public health concerns and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections
21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting of the Waukee City Council will be conducted
electronically as holding the meeting in person is impossible or impractical. However,
the public is encouraged to access the meeting electronically in the manner specified
below.
