AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Fox Valley Plat 1

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The plan set includes improvements associated with Fox Valley Plat 1. The improvements
include extensions of public streets and installation of water main, storm sewer, and sanitary
sewer.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the developer to address the last
remaining comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
FOX VALLEY PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction drawings have been submitted to the City for Fox Valley Plat 1;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 5th day of April, 2021 that the Construction Drawings for Fox Valley Plat 1 be approved
subject to remaining staff comments.
