AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of 6-month Class B Beer Permit with Outdoor
Service and Sunday Sales privileges for Guns N Roeses, Inc., d/b/a
Kenny’s Garage Beach Bar [890 SE Olson Drive], pending proof of
dram insurance and approved temporary site use permit
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The owners of Sportsplex West (890 SE Olson
Drive) plan to have a temporary food stand that will be opened when
their outdoor sand volleyball courts are in use. The food stand will also
serve refreshments including beer sales through applicant Kenny’s
Garage Beach Bar. They have not yet been issued a temporary use
permit by the Development Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Police, Fire, and Development Services Departments
have reviewed the application and find no reason to deny the permit at
this time.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the liquor license, pending proof of dram insurance and
approved temporary site use permit.
