The apparent low quote is NPL of Lakeville, MN. Their quote amount was $129,583.00. Today, I spoke with Mr. Theis at NPL and explained to him that his exceptions for traffic control and water pumps must be included with the cost and proposed scope of work. He was agreeable to include the cost of traffic control and water pumps in their proposed quote without modification. I do have previous experience working with NPL on other natural gas pipeline projects. They are a qualified and experienced contractor. At this time, I see no reason to not award the quote to NPL, with the stipulation that there are no exceptions or adders to their quote. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or require additional information. Respectfully Submitted, Anthony Everette, P.E.
