AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution amending certain addresses within
Waukee Crossing Plat 1
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council recently approved a final plat for
Waukee Crossing Plat 1. After the plat was recorded staff determined that
there were two (2) assigned addresses within the plat that were labeled
incorrectly on the Final Plat. In order to correct this issue staff is
recommending that the addresses for Lots 1 and 3 within Waukee Crossing
Plat 1 be changed.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the resolution
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2021-
APPROVAL OF AMENDING CERTAIN ADDRESSES WITHIN WAUKEE
CROSSING PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee approved the final plat for Waukee Crossing Plat 1 on
January 6, 2020, and recorded said final plat with the Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there were addressing errors related to Lots 1 and
3 of Waukee Crossing Plat 1; AND,
WHEREAS, staff recommends changing the following local addresses within the City in
order to correct said errors as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 7th day of June 2021, that the local addresses as referenced above are
amended. A copy of this resolution shall be filed of record with the Recorders Office of
Dallas County, Iowa.
