Agenda for Payment Estimate No. 2 for the Southwest Area Trunk Sewer Extension Phase 2
Project was listed incorrectly in the amount of $92,348.00. The correct amount for Payment
Estimate No. 2 is $92,348.40.

CORRECTING SCRIVENER’S ERROR RELATED TO PAYMENT ESTIMATE NO 2
TO J&K CONTRACTING, LLC FOR THE SOUTHWEST AREA TRUNK SEWER
EXTENSION PHASE 2 PROJECT, CORRECTING PAYMENT AMOUNT TO
$92,348.40
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2021, as part of the Consent Agenda, the Waukee City Council
approved Payment Estimate No. 2 to J&K Contracting, LLC for the Southwest Area Trunk
Sewer Extension Phase 2 Project in the amount of $92,348.00; AND,
WHEREAS, the official meeting agenda contained a scrivener’s error in the total dollar amount
which should have read $92,348.40; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
6th day of July, 2021, that it hereby approves the correcting a scrivener’s error related to Payment
Estimate No. 2 to J&K Contracting, LLC for the Southwest Area Trunk Sewer Extension Phase
2 Project, correcting the payment amount to $92,348.40.
